About Trouvé

Trouvé is a new artist's studio and store located in one of the most eclectic small towns in the country - Fairfax, California - just minutes north of San Francisco in Marin County. The name Trouvé was derived from the French term "objet trouvé" which describes a natural or discarded object found by chance and held to have aesthetic value.

Inside Trouvé is a visual delight, where you'll find original artwork and prints, rare and decorative vintage housewares, and other unique, one-of-a-kind objects. Whether they be butterflies, intricate dutch frames, Scandinavian chairs or gilded antlers, most things in Trouvé cannot be found anywhere else. Trouvé is far more than just a retail space, is a functioning artist's workshop and single point of contact for a variety of design services .
